We have reached Mongolia! and after driving all day, we reached our final destination of Ulaanbaatar late tonight! The total distance turned out to be almost exactly 16,000 km! (10,000 miles!)
We drove around until we found the nicest high-rise hotel in the city and have checked in for the night. The Mongolf got roped-off VIP parking treatment in front of the hotel when we arrived as well! We will post more to come, but are literally starving at the moment and are now off to eat our first real meal in four days, and drink lots of cold beer!
Here we are in the middle of Mongolia, with nothing more than beautiful rolling hills and mountains as far as the eye can see! The Mongolf made it!
